With every OMC project, we find two camps in the management team: the folks that are supportive of changes and those that are not. Once a business sets a new course, the wise managers will step up and add to the process. Those that don’t are at risk with regards to their future with the organization. A wise leader points this out to all of his staff and clarifies the changes as much as possible. In addition, the leader should continue stressing the importance of commitment to these, even to the point of terminating those that don’t buy in. Otherwise, the entire project could fail. In economic times like these, the entire organization may be at risk if all the players are not onboard with the new change direction.
